What can I say? My name is Rick Withers and I'm just a
22 year old attending the College of Charleston (which is in South Carolina)
who enjoys listening to tons of music (the selection of which is pretty
diverse-- like myself), going around different places in Charleston (especially
Waterfront Park/ Folly Beach during a sunset *grin*), and wasting weekends
away finding anything new to do. I've
been around the world (especially England since I have relatives over there),
was born in Germany, and I'm ready to move on wherever new things (and
people :) in my life take me.

Baby Pics
Alright... I'll be a man. I had these pictures scanned a while back but finally decided to post them. The following set I scanned a few years ago for a French project when I was still in high school.

Over the years my sister Mallisa has managed to do things such as crash my car, but I still love her. She's grown into a beautiful and sweet person who I'm proud to call my sister. If she ever needs me for anything, I'll always be there to help her..
My

Older Pictures
A picture of me when I was 16... for my local newspaper.

We met by rarest of chances... and it's something that
seemed destined to happen. Marianna, you're the kindest, sweetest, and
most beautiful woman I've met and there isn't a day in my life that isn't
dedicated to you. I love you and nothing I could ever say could compare
to the happiness I know we share together. Thank you for walking into my
life.. because it has not been the same since you did....
Your voice, full of imagination
Sweeps me off my feet;
In the eternal soaring of your magic passion
And in the tender essence of your soul
Dwell desire, sadness and unpretentious power...
I perceive that my worship
Of your feminine and heavenly song is clean,
And my mystic desire is to listen to you,
With sublime fervor, love;
To hear your sweet voice
Call me with the sound of angels...
To my dream of bewitching lips, caresses;
And a rare fantasy of possessing you.
You leave me without breath,
To carry all alone, this cross
Misted with blue tears.
I seek you, my daily bread,
I am made by your hands
Shaping as you do, my destiny...
And so, kneeling before you,
I pour out my heart before you,
And beg you
To guide my star
In this burning blackness
Of loneliness by night:
Because all my devotion is for you alone,
And on the altar of your beauty inside and out
I leave the only offering I can give you:
My devoted, waiting heart.

In the Summer of 2000 I visited a close friend in Canada and stopped
at Niagara Falls. I would recommend this place to anyone who seeking
a good time. The nightlife during summer weekends could only be described
as eventful. There are many great parks, theme rides, clubs, and restaurants
throughout the location in which you can spend the entire day exploring.
Definitely going back someday..
Ok..
turn on the water.. no wait.. just a little lower.. good... lol

Too

During my Winter Break of 1999, I went to England to visit relatives
and to celebrate Christmas and the first New Year's of the millineum. It
was amazing. For the first time I travelled alone at a "legal" age
limit and needless to say I enjoyed every minute of it. :) I was
in a club or bar nearly every night dancing, drinking, or doing both...
*grin* and the new friends I made over there will always mean the world
to me. I have a few pictures I took of the towns I went through:
One of the beaches in Newquay, England. I took many pictures of this place because it was just...amazing.

Charleston
Charleston, South Carolina.. My hometown for over ten years. There are many things to see and do, so I would highly recommend as a vacation spot. Here are some shots I took of the downtown area.
Late
evening at the Battery
Looking
at the sunset
Searching
out into the world
Chillin'

My
dream home overlooking the ocean
The
famous podium in the park. Many people get married on the weekends
in this wonderful setting.
I
see why people love this place
Seychelles
Ahhh... now this is a place I would love to be
at one day... Seychelles... It's the birthplace of my mother and considered
by many who know of it to be one of the most beauitful places of the world.
If more people were informed about it, Seychelles would probably be as
populars as some other vacation spots like the Bahamas or Bermuda. Lined
up as a definite vacation in the future, there is no doubt it would be
worth the trip. Here are some pictures I've found reflecting the sheer
amazement the country has to offer.
A typical Seychelles sunset.. I know where I want to go for retirement.. :)
Wow...Must.. have.. vacation.
Ladies and gentlemen... my dream home.
